Some time ago, our lifestyle habits changed greatly for reasons that not everyone can ignore. It is for these reasons that the management and staff of the Empress Hotel are committed to providing a clean and safe to overcome Covid-19. The management has surrounded itself with experts in order to apply new health standards for the safety of all. We are happy to share the details with you.

Front desk

We have revised our reception procedure by reducing contacts by limiting signatures and by implementing contactless transactions when possible. In addition, at the time of departure, we value electronic invoicing.

We also installed protective screens, floor marks and disinfecting stations to respect social distancing.

Rooms

We have improved our cleaning protocols by removing items with high contacts (directory of services, stationery, pens, disposable toiletries) and by paying particular attention to the disinfection of certain items (telephone, remote control, switches, handles door).

Housekeeping will be done on departure and a protocol is in place for the replacement of sheets and towels.

Public spaces

Additional deep cleaning of high contact surfaces and implementation of a control charter.

We have also added material safety data sheets to ensure social distancing

UPDATE ON OUR CANCELLATION POLICIES (COVID-19)

Confinement and social distancing measures of the past few months have certainly aroused the desire to travel and to escape. Activities resume quietly and we believe in the importance of informing you about our cancellation policies.

Have you booked a flexible rate on the phone or on our website?

Customers who have booked a fully refundable rate can change or cancel their reservation without penalty by contacting the property directly within 24 hours of arrival. For a reservation made online, you can make the changes by clicking here.

 

Have you booked a non-flexible rate over the phone or on our website?

For a reservation made from June 1, 2020, in case of cancellation, it will not be possible to obtain a refund. However, the hotel undertakes to issue you an electronic gift certificate equivalent to the prepayment of your stay in order to benefit from it later. These gift certificates do not have an expiration date. To do so, please contact your hotel directly.

Booking with a third-party channel

Any third-party reservation channel is required to comply with the cancellation policy provided by Hôtel l’Empress described above. Customers who have booked through a travel agency, an online booking platform or another third-party channel are invited to contact the booking entity concerned directly to find out the options for any modification, cancellation or request for a voucher that ‘apply to their reservation.

 

Group reservation 

For all group bookings, including those including meeting rooms and events, please contact your sales representative. Cancellation requests or postponements of events will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
